Einmalige, sehr robuste Profidetektoren, die weltweit von Amateur- und Profischatzsuchern, Behörden, Militär, Suchdiensten, aber auch von Berufstauchern in der Industrie erfolgreich eingesetzt werden. Der AQUAPULSE arbeitet mit dem Pulsinduktionssystem, d. h. absolut kein Tiefensuchverlust auch in stark mineralisierten Böden oder im Salzwasser. Das Gerät wird mit fest eingebauten Nickel / Cadmium Akkus und Ladegerät ausgeliefert. Das Elektronikteil kann während der Landsuche am mitgelieferten Gürtel getragen werden. (Hipmount). Bei der Unterwassersuche empfiehlt es sich das Elektronikteil mit den mitgelieferten Gurten am oberen Teleskopgestänge zu befestigen. Alle elektronischen Verbindungen sind mit Spezialdrehverschlüssen versehen. Die gesamte Elektronik befindet sich in einem druckfesten Zylinder, ebenso die Akkus. Alle Teile des AQUAPULSE sind geprüft bis 100 Meter Wassertiefe und somit sowohl für den härtesten Unterwassereinsatz als auch an Land unter extremsten Wetterverhältnissen geeignet. Die unkomplizierte Zwei-Knopf Bedienung gestattet auch dem technischen Laien den sofortigen Einsatz. Mit dem SET / AUDIO Regler bestimmen Sie die Tiefensuchleistung, mit dem REJEKT / CONTROL Regler können störende Bodenmineralien und kleine Metallteile wie z. B. Abreißlaschen ausgefiltert werden.

INTRODUCTION:

The Aquascan Jet Probes have been developed as a specialised diver operated detection tool, providing a solution where conventional detection tools are ineffective. The probe acts as a dynamic sensor which is used in conjunction with the AQ 1B metal detector. The Jet Probe provides a means of determining the precise position, depth of burial and nature of buried items in many diverse applications. Using a small water pump at the surface and a 25 mm (1”) hose connection to the probe, the system provides a means of inserting a sensor deep into loose sediments and respond to metallic objects in close proximity.

APPLICATIONS:

WRECKAGE – Ideal tool for the pinpointing of buried metallic wreck material in loose and mobile sediments. Non invasive technology for archaeological wreck investigation, ideal diver operated tool to verify both position and depth of items buried deep in sediment. Allows accurate mapping of all buried metallic material prior to seabed disturbance. Can determine the presence and shape of metal beyond the depth of conventional metal detector sensor loops.

PIPES AND CABLES – Ideal for investigating and profiling pipes and armoured cables buried in sediment. Penetration depths of up to 3 metres depending on the nature of the sediment. Accurately determines the depth of burial as well as the precise position.

E.O.D. & SECURITY – Many applications in all types of underwater investigation for the presence of ordnance, particularly where the use of other technology is impractical.

SALVAGE – A useful tool for the mapping of underwater areas where material is buried under a deep layer of sediment, allows excavation to be selectively applied. Ideal tool to complement remote sensing technology to provide the final focus.

SYSTEM DESCRIPTION:
The Jet Probe is essentially a burrowing detector probe integrated into a long rigid pipe of up to 3 metres in length, optimised for use to penetrate sand or sediment to a depth of 3 metres, and gravel / sand compositions to a lesser depth. The Jet Probe stem is coupled to a flexible tube through which a medium to high pressure flow of water is applied. When vertically deployed, water exiting the head of the pipe displaces the bed material and allows the head to burrow beneath the surface and maintains a liquefied (quicksand) column in which the pipe can easily be manually moved upward or downwards with minimal effort. Penetration to a depth of up to 3 metres (limited by the length of the stem) can be achieved in 30 seconds. A 4 or 5 HP petrol driven “semi- trash” water pump produces the necessary dynamic water pressure. The Jet Pulse has been optimised to operate in conjunction with the powerful AQ 1B diver operated metal detector. The rigid pipe has a cable passing along it’s entire length, terminating in the sensing loop at the remote end; the cable passed through an exit gland at the top near the water entry and has an external length equal to the length of the probe. The cable terminates in a male Ikelite connector for connection to the Aquapulse control unit.

JP 300 Overall length 3.0 metres (9 ft 10”) = 42 mm (1 5 / 8”) diameter 1128,- €

Due to shipping constraints, the JP 250 will be the favoured option for international orders unless carriage can be arranged by the customer. All Jet Probes come in a storage tube 110 mm (4”) diameter. As standard, the Jet Probes have a quick disconnect fitting (Swift Bayonet) for the water inlet. Customers will be able to use their own existing hose system ending in this type of fitting. Aquascan International can provide all the hoses and fittings required ready assembled and in a transit case. The standard hose options are either 25 metres or 50 metres length and are supplied with quick connect / disconnect facility that allows ease of assembly and ease of extending operating length. The hose kit comes with 2” female cam fittings for connection to a 2” pump outlet, these fittings can be changed to meet an alternative customer spec. at a cost.
